The Modeller's Workshop is dedicated to providing people with a sense of accomplishment through model-building. We believe that model-building improves all kinds of skills, hand-eye coordination, reduces stress, and brings interesting new focus to people's lives.
Basic Modelling Courses
Great Beginnings-Introduction to Model-Building
The modeller will learn the basics of organizing the project, choosing the right tools, preparing the assembly, and prodeeding to completion. Our intention with this course is to help modellers save time and money by showing them the different alternatives in terms of kit complexity, tool choice, and paint.
Course length-1 hour. $35CDN+tx.
Finishing
Our intention is to show the modeller how to fare, sand, and polish a model to give that realistic look in pictures. This course is given only by Rick Shousha.
Course length-2 hours. $65CDN+tx.
Painting and Beginning Airbrushing
By far our most popular course, our intention wih this course is to help modellers get the most from their models by showing them how to get an amazing finish using good technique, paint cans, and fine paint brushes.

Advanced Airbrush
Learn to create a space scene, comic characters, sky, and special effects, using an airbrush and masking techniques.
Prerequisite-Painting and beginner Airbrushing
Course length-3 hours, $135CDN+tx

Lessons by the hour
For those people who need help with specific issues, we are happy to offer lessons by the hour, at $35 per hour plus taxes.

Our Multi-Day Workshops are great for people who want to get together to build a large model, school project, diorama, or just want to share some skills with friends.
