Rick, I found your site, WOW!! Fabulous. this is truly my kind of modeling site, thank you for doing all that you do, your an inspiration to us all. The step by step menu is perfect. My interests are wood boats and of course Pocher kits. I have built #k-91 and #K-56 with the Autograph F-40 OZ Version Transkit is on my workbench currently, this should be an interesting build since it is the yellow version of the f-40. Hi Rick, Finally, I found them again, the Pocher kits. I fell in love 30+ years ago when I saw an open box in the display counter of a hoby shop in Laval. I could not afford the $280 back then... I went back years later but the shop was gone. I have recently completed "Lancia HMS Victory" by Mantua and I am getting started on "HMS Bounty" by Constructo. Both kits are very old, 25+ years old but could not find the time until recently. When I'm done with the Bounty, I'd like to build the Pocher Bugatti 50T.
I really like your site, it has everything I was looking for: Pocher kits, many pics of models, parts, even the RR assembly manual pdf. I will be visiting Montreal next weekend and hope to find the time to stop by.

Hi. I live in the Netherlands, Europe and I'm a bit of a model enthusiast. I'm regularly searching the internet for good deals and in May of this year (2009) I bought a model from Rick Shousha's. A beautiful ship by Caldercraft, of all brands! Worldwide there is only a handfull of brands that really deserve the term "Modelmakers of Splendid Quality" and as far as I am (and so many thousands of others are)concerned Caldercraft is one of them. It had visibly been in storage for a while, which had been well visible on the photos, but what a ship! The contents of the box are in perfect condition and the design lines superbe. It took a while for it to arrive from Canada, but I was certainly warned for this by Rick. And even with the cost of shipping the price was lower than having to buy a new one here. Since then mister Shousha certainly is my list of favorites.
I hope to be able to buy from you again, Rick...

This is a long way from Hampstead and the ski club...
I work on reasons why people collect art and collectibles.
